Richard Caplan is Principal Broker/Owner agent and cofounder of Deerfield Valley Real Estate. He moved to the area in 1987 from Hartford, Connecticut and began working in real estate in 1989. He is also very knowledgeable in construction, design and land development. He has been a member of the Mt. Snow Ski Patrol for 18 years and served as a member for the Dover School Board of Directors. He and his family are avid skiers, bikers, hikers and enjoy boating fishing and all the outdoors has to offer. Rich, his wife Laurie and sons Jonathan and Nathan reside in West Dover.

Lisa moved to Vermont from central Connecticut in 2001 after a long career in the banking industry and is actively participating in this busy real estate market. Lisa is a board of director for the local snowmobile club, The Deerfield Valley Stump Jumpers, and is an avid snowmobiler herself. Looking for property on the VAST trail? Just ask Lisa. She also loves boating and in the summer months when not at the office you will find her on her boat enjoying the beauty of Lake  Whitingham. She resides in West Dover with her husband Tony Mirando and their dog Genie.

Don Koelsch has recently joined our sales team. Don moved to the Deerfield Valley in 1968 (with his dad, who thought it would be good for a city boy to live on a farm with fields to mow, horses to feed, and over 1000 maple trees to tap). He is an avid snow skier, enjoys snowmobiling, kayaking, water skiing, and riding his motorcycle on the hundreds of beautiful twisty roads in Vermont and New England. He has been active in local planning and development serving on the Dover Planning, Windham Regional, and Vermont Affordable Housing Commissions. With a 30 year construction and land development background, he can be an effective resource in your search for that perfect property as he has built dozens of custom homes and condominiums throughout Southern Vermont. Don and his wife, Cathy, live in West Wardsboro with their four legged, tail waggin' friends, Lara and Corbin.
